Multidimensional Goals and Why You Should Give This page is meant to explain many of our goals in an in-depth manner. We hope you will take the time to read over this while understanding that we believe in sharing information, being inclusive rather than exclusive and stressing some key points about what we want to achieve with your help and making it clear as to why you should help us and not only give, but get involved. 1. Travel to Thailand and Cambodia this summer as a first trip. This is familiar ground for us and we don’t want to just go and 'see;' as an international service organization, our goal is, through serious on location fact finding, to provide donors with facts for making informed donations to specific organizations on the ground. We want to stress that this is meant to be a relationship building trip between us and the most effective organizations. Let us be your active agents of change; we are in your service. 2. We want this first trip to be the first of several. We want to return with even more knowledge, experience and connections in order to continue serious fund raising that can hopefully result in sustaining positive effective projects not only in South East Asia but other nations. We would like each summer to be the time for donating funds raised throughout the school year.
3. You might be asking, "what kind of projects??" We have a large vision; if possible we want to help NGOs in 3 regions, to begin with: - South East Asia (our first target area): organizations dealing with sex trade, child prostitution, forced labor.
We understand that this is not simple, and we are not trying to foster our own programs from scratch or the ground up. There are amazing, dedicated groups in these countries in dire need of our support. They need donations and creative individuals like you who might be willing to help. Again one of our many goals is establishing relationships with these effective groups and doing whatever we can to show you how your money can change lives. If you want to go and do more, it's possible if we work together.
