| Why Do This? We live in an age of information overload. With constant media sources at the tips of our fingers and relentless television and internet shows, reports and forms screaming for attention we are sometimes overwhelmed with some very serious issues that combined may seem impossible to combat.
With this in mind we have asked ourselves, what is possibly the greatest good that we can do to help? What little part can we play to help make this world a better place? For myself and others, the answer is simple: EDUCATION. Education gives rise to enlightenment and through education we can change anything. If you want to help the environment or if you want to save animals, or save the rainforest, a key factor is education and effective direct action programs. Human Trafficking, Slavery, Modern Day Slavery, Sex Trade, Bonded Slaves, Forced Labor: these are all phrases that covey some aspects of global issues that, in reality, are interconnected to so many other issues. We can find connections with almost anything in a global economy with global communications that link us to each other whether we realize it or not.
How can you deal with Human Trafficking on the global level and combat the realities of corruption, organized crime, poverty, international and domestic legalities, overpopulation, disease, terrorism, warfare, environmental degradation, sex trafficking, forced labor trafficking, and the simple fact that many people are unaware or unsure of how to help.The answer to this is, again, education and direct action programs that actually work.
